A short story about us
My wife and I decided to start a food truck of January of 2024. A year later as we wrap up closely to getting things finalized, we decided to push through with this journey. I am serving in the military while managing the business and as for my wife, she spent plenty of time in school back in her hometown in the Philippines getting a degree in culinary and further advancing her cooking career and worked in many food industries around the U.S.

Start of our journey
Legend of Mayon
The Legend of Mayon begins with a princess in the Philippines in a town called Legazpi in the tribal years before colonization of Spain. Mayon full name is Daragang Magayon. Shorten to Mayon from the locals. A man Pangaronon saved her in an unfortunate accident in a river. They quickly fell in love. Pangaronon was from an enemy tribe of her fathers. But wanted to ask for her hand. Another man named Pagtuga was already promised to Mayon. Pagtuga was tyrant and war like warrior and brutal. Mayon and Pangaronon went into hiding briefly to get married, as they were married the news spread. Causing Pagtuga to get wind of it and went on a man hunt for Mayon. When Pagtuga's warrior group found Pangaronon and Mayon. He kidnapped Mayon by force as Pangaronon slipped away he rallied his warrior tribe and took a few good men into hunt down for his wife. As Pangaronon found Pagtuga and Mayon, he tried to forcibly marry her at this time. Pangaronon was angered and fought Pagtuga as they fought, both warrior group that each had mustered, fought each other to the death. A stray arrow quickly struck Mayon as a bystander from Pagtuga's hand. As Pangaronon quickly rushed to her aid Pagtuga stabbed Pangaronon in the back with a sword. If he couldn't have her, nobody else could. Pangaronon quickly stabbed Pagtuga with his sword as a sword was already in him from pagtuga and Pagtuga fell and died instantly. As Mayon and Pangaronon slowly bled out they held each other closely. Her Farther had picked their bodies up and buried them in the ground near her favorite place she always liked. The burial quickly became a monumental site as the mound over time turned into a mountain and eventually a Volcano over the years. That is why they call it Mayon Volcano. Locals believe that her spirit still lives on and shows it through the volcano. Love is strong and it comes to show that we are blessed to have nation where we can love without consequences.
The flavors of Mayon's Paradise truly transport you to the heart of the Philippines. Incredible experience!
